This is our second Tempur-Pedic. The first was 10 years ago and when we bought a new home and needed another mattress, T-P was our only choice. Our 10 year old mattress still feels new with no sags or memory depressions. Our new T-P is a new version of our original. We love the cooling technology and the fact that movements on one side of the bed don\u2019t transmit to the person sleeping on the other side. I highly recommend.

Yes, it's cool to the touch and pampers the skin the moment you get in and move about. The foam structure material is designed to absorb the heat deep down under and channel heat away from the body. I feel my body getting rid of the heat and in doing so, I think it helps burn calories while sleeping. In the morning I let the mattress air out a little under the ceiling fan before making the bed because heat does get trapped in the material and needs to vent and reset for the next sleep cycle. The mattress itself was over 5 grand but worth it when considering how long it will last and maintain its form and function. When it comes to my personal comfort in bed, money is no object. My last bed was the Cloud Supreme and it did tend to sleep hot but served me well for over 10 years. It was time for a change. I have no regrets!
