Remember to include your bed frame height
A standard metal bed frame typically holds the foundation about 7 inches above the floor, and many wooden bed frames use a similar support height. However, heights vary: some frames hold the foundation around 12 inches above the floor, while others sit lower. Measure from the floor to the surface where your foundation rests, then add the foundation height and mattress thickness to estimate your total bed height.
