Sleeping Adjusted
Charles Foster explains the benefits of sleeping adjusted. Sleeping with your head up and your knees bent improves sleep quality, gives better support, and reduces snoring. He uses a Tempur-Pedic LuxAdapt medium hybrid mattress ontop of a Tempurpedic Ergo ProSmart adjustable base.
This is how I sleep every night. What you'll notice is that my knees are bent about 3 inches and my head is up about 3 inches. This position here takes pressure off your lower back by bending your knees up and changing the angle of your hip and opens up your airways when you sleep on your back to help with snoring and what not. It also works for when you’re sleeping on your side if you look at your hips they protrude from where our ankles would be. Raising the foot of the bed will just fill that gap. On an adjustable bed you can actually adjust it to your custom setting. What I’ve done here is I saved that to number one but you can say pick a different one, you press and hold the button once you’ve adjusted the bed and then that’s your favorite position. You’ll need options for sleeping if you have any sleep issues.
